We love and live for food these days so much that our kitchen cooks can create restaurant quality meals at home! However as some one who cooks for a living and hosts regularly eating out is a sheer treat and one we personally love when staying at Skye Lodge with a choice of so many wonderful restaurants and hotels.

The Lochbay (Mitchlin Star) Restaurant -

Only a 20 minute drive from Skye Lodge to the Waternish and old fishing village of Stein. Lochbay restaurant has a true Scottish heart with french influence - food is simply amazing as is their service.

Stein Inn (our oldest pub on Isle of Skye) -

Also a 20 minute drive and highly worthwhile. Lunch and Bar suppers are served. Check our their menu. Fresh mussels, skye scallops from sconser in oatmeal my favorite; venison or salmon – Stein Inn just ticks the box for us.

Edinbane Lodge -

Awarding winner young restaurant and one to watch as reputations grow and booking a table at Edinbane Lodge will get harder harder.

Edinbane Village is a small hamlet and one to visit for the Edinbane Pottery.

The Three Chimney Restaurant -

Just a 5minute drive from Skye Lodge. The best known and longstanding iconic ‘Three Chimneys’ restaurants has changed hands after 34years. New Owners ‘The Wee Hotel Group’ have committed to maintaining the legacy that has made the Three Chimney Restaurant unique for its location and culinary success.

The Old School Restaurant -

On our doorstep. The Old School Restaurant (1985) is a family run restaurant.  Maryann and Hugh Mackenzie and now their son John.  A firm favourite of ours as we have enjoyed many family celebrations lovingly hosted and arranged by the team at The Old School Restaurant.  Fresh local produce; lovely setting and ambience booking a table is a must -no car required as an easy walk from Skye Lodge.
