Directions
Leaving Skye lodge guesthouse turn up the hill and turn right onto the main road heading away from the village. Turn left up Kings Brae Road and follow the wiggling track past the Easter Island heads and continue to Kilmuir Road.
There is a metal gate almost directly opposite, where the track meets Kilimuir rood, go through the gate dodging the bog and head straight up the hill and around the micro-crag.
The view allows you a full 360 of Dunvegan, across the loch to the tables and on a clear day the Cuillins are magnificent.
Can easily be combined with the full Dunvegan village loop to form a longer walk or head up early morning for sunrise over the mountains.
